I have finally acquired a lathe/milling machine from Damato Macchine, model BVB25/3L.
The lathe chuck can hold bars up to 250mm.

I’m planning to use it for building parts for my projects and it’s going to be equipped with tools for working inox steel as well since that’s the only suitable metal for SEM applications.

A quick change tools turret and a centesimal visualizer on X axis (y axis coming soon) have been added. It’s going to need some other small improvement, but I’m sure it will be able to provide me all the parts I need.

So far I have built a photo attachment for Zeiss microscopes, custom SEM stubs and KF25 connectors for my rotary vane pump. Material is aluminum.
